2010 verbrachten Inge Wegge and Jørn Ranum 9 Monate in der freien Natur von Norwegen, oberhalb des Polarkreises. Sie lebten anfangs im Zelt und bauten sich später aus Treibgut eine Hütte (Bilder). In ihrer Freizeit gingen sie wandern, surfen und snowboarden. Mit dem Snowboard im Schnee am Meer zu stehen (@0:22), hat schon irgendwas surreales. Das Komplette Abenteuer kann man sich in 12 kurzen Folgen hier anschauen oder “aufsaugen”, wie ich es gemacht habe. Ein Interview gibt es bei GEO und mehr Infos auf ihrer Facebook-Seite. Ich such mir dann mal auch eine Bucht raus, das Wetter passt ja schon mal.

What can I say about this amazing country? This is probably the most surprising, beautiful, impressive and powerful place I’ve ever been to. It’s like Mother Nature is giving a show. Thanx to Iceland I realised that our beloved Planet Earth is living under our feet, moving and breathing like us, little human beings. Sitting in front of these gigantic glaciers thongs, watching icebergs at Jokulsarlon, walking on lava fields, craters, black sand beaches, smelling the sulfur of Namafjall, listening to the deep roar of Dettifoss waterfall… well, you can’t possibly forget this experience.
